In June 2022 in Budapest (HUN) I was the first Austrian to achieve a top 10 place in open water at a world championship .
At the same time I was able to qualify for the ANOC Beach Games 2023!
Top 10 in the world
I was able to swim a 9th place at the World Championships at the Olympic distance of 10 km in open water.
No Austrian has ever achieved that before!

In a courageous race, I was able to establish myself in the leading group from the beginning of the race and hold this position until the last lap. In the end I had to let something go to the winner, but I'm still really proud of this result.
23rd place and a qualification
In the 5km race I was able to reach 23rd place .
I was in 14th place for a long time, but had to let some competitors pass me in the finish corridor.
With this achievement I qualified for the
ANOC Beach Games 2023 in Bali (INA).
