At the Phoenix Sub 7 Ironman in June in Dresden (GER), my training partner and I were able to support triathlon Olympic champion, Ironman world champion and world record holder Kristian Blummenfelt (NOR) in becoming the first man to complete an Ironman in under seven hours!
Defy the impossible
At request of Kristian's sponsor DeBoer Wetsuits, I became part of the successful team Blummenfelt. During the week my training partner Lars and I spent in Dresden, I was able to learn a lot, got to know new people and gained a lot of strength for the tasks ahead.

Kristian was able to beat the sound barrier of seven (7!!!) hours! The years of hard work that the whole team put into the project has definitely paid off.
It was an honor to be part of this team. Kristian himself is one of the coolest men I've ever met. Not only did he share a lot of knowledge and experience with me, he welcomed us very kindly and remained a down-to-earth guy despite his huge success.
